On behalf of the men and women of this year’s Organizing Committee, allow me to invite you and your dialysis staff to attend the 24th Postgraduate Course in Dialysis. This will be happening on October 5 to 7, 2017 at the Conference Halls of the National Kidney and Transplant Institute.
With the theme, “Towards Stronger Collaborative Dialysis Care Management,” the scientific program will highlight the various clinical, metabolic, hormonal and hematologic complications of uremia that undermine the well-being of dialysis patients and the clear need for a multi-disciplinary management approach to improve patient outcomes.
The course program will take you through a full day simultaneous pre-convention educational workshops on vascular access (60 slots), advanced peritoneal dialysis (120 slots) and renal nutrition (60 slots) plus symposia for renal technicians (120 slots) and social workers (60 slots). These will be followed by a 2-day convention proper, running almost parallel programs for doctors (200 slots) and nurses (900 slots) on the management of various uremic complications of dialysis patients. Altogether, the conference will feature 77 highly informative presentations delivered by well esteemed local and international exp erts. Dr. Adrian Liew, a renowned PD expert from Singapore and Dr. Bill Zhu, Clinical Support Manager of B Braun China graciously accepted our invitation to talk in this meeting.
